We had a perfect day for Ayesha & Sam's engagement in the lovely Forest Park. It's hard to beat Forest Park at the start of spring, when the tulips are in bloom and the trees are freshly covered with leaves. Ayesha and Sam are such a fun and sweet couple, and they were so natural in front of the camera. I can't wait to photograph their Marriott Grand Crystal Ballroom (one of my absolute, all-time favorite venues) wedding later this summer!
When you photograph a wedding planner's wedding, you can count on it being amazing. And when it's a couple like Jordan and Michelle, you're in for one of the best wedding days ever. Jordan and Michelle's wedding overflowed with beauty and love, and they were surrounded by family and friends who love each other loudly and fully. Michelle and Jordan couldn't have been happier to start their marriage, and we loved being able to capture the joyful start of their journey as husband and wife. Congratulations, Michelle and Jordan!

This July 4th wedding was incredible! Rosie and Mike were married at Our Lady of Lourdes on July 4th, with a reception at Neo on Locust. The two make an absolutely stunning couple, and their day was full of lovely little touches. From the lavender accents on the invitations to the gorgeous illusion back of Rosie's dress, this wedding day glowed from Rosie's elegant, softly romantic style. One of my favorite parts of the day was standing on the rooftop of Neo, looking out over miles and miles of Missouri and Illinois as fireworks shot into the sky. From the grand fireworks in Forest Park to tiny backyard fireworks off in the countryside, the sky practically glittered. It was the perfect way to close out a Fourth of July wedding. May every anniversary be just as full of celebration and joy as their wedding!

Ida and Jake were married on a sort of rainy Saturday in May, but the rain couldn't begin to put a damper on their spirits. Ida was a positively resplendent bride. In a low-backed, lace dress with full curls and a red lip, she was equal parts classic elegance and vintage glamour. Jake was her perfect counterpart in a classic tuxedo. After first seeing each other in Forest Park (the look on Jake's face when he first saw her!), the two were married at the Shrine of St. Joseph. Their reception was held at the Crystal Ballroom at the Renaissance Grand. This was such a beautiful day, and Ida and Jake make an amazing couple. Congratulations, Ida and Jake!
