Erin & Pete's Winter Wedding | St. Louis Wedding Photogrpahy

There's something magical about winter weddings that embrace the season, and that was so true for Erin and Pete's stunning December day. Though there wasn't any snow (and in fact, we were blessed with near 50 degree weather!), the soft colors of cream and lavender with occasional touches of sparkly bling were the perfect fit for this winter wedding. Erin would have been a beautiful bride in any season, but her fair looks were perfectly set off by her icy jewelry, a lace gown with touches of sparkle, stunning bejeweled silver shoes, and the perfect fur stole. There were so many things to love about this day (the bridesmaids pearl necklaces, those bouquets, Erin and Pete's adorable dogs, and that gorgeous cake!), but the highlight was definitely seeing Erin and Pete beam at each other as husband and wife. Erin and Pete are so happy together, and it was an absolute pleasure to document their wedding day. Kristen & Jereme's Pre-Wedding Portraits | Mexico Destination Wedding Photography

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we had the honor of traveling to Mexico to photograph Kristen and Jereme tie the knot at their destination wedding. Their wedding was at the stunning El Dorado Royale located on the beautiful beach of the Riviera Maya. Since we arrived a few days early to settle in before the main event, we were able to take some time with Kristen and Jereme to capture some pre-wedding portraits. It was the perfect opportunity to explore the resort, walk on the beach, and scramble over rocks in non-wedding garb. All that scrambling over rocks was well worth it - some of my favorite photos from the shoot are from the rocky shore with waves crashing the background and the coast line stretching out. Kristen and Jereme started out in a more casual outfit, then switched to a dressier one. We loved Kristen's sequined white gown (not her wedding gown, by the way - there's another gorgeous dress coming in the next blog post!). Surrounded by new, beautiful, and different things, destination wedding photography is an incredible experience. Here are some of our favorite photos from Kristen and Jereme's pre-wedding portraits.

Callie & Brett's Wedding | Sqwires Wedding Photography

Callie and Brett were married on November 22nd at Sqwire's in Lafayette Square. Just like the couple themselves, their wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. Callie and Brett met while working at the Chase Park Plaza, and so it was only fitting for Callie to start her day at the Chase, where her story with Brett first began. Callie was simply stunning in a Mori Lee gown that she paired with festive royal blue Kate Spade shoes - one of my favorite 'something blue' items that I've seen this year! One of my favorite details of the day was their wedding program - instead of just including the order of events, their wedding program included some adorable stats on Callie and Brett, like how many days they have dated, how many trips to Ted Drewes they have taken, the date they bought their first house, and of course, the date their life as a married couple began. Congratulations, Callie and Brett!

Megan & Evan's Third Degree Glass Factory Wedding

These two! We started the day at Megan's parents' beautiful home in the Central West End, and by the time we arrived at the Cheshire Hotel for Evan's getting ready (in the James Bond room nonetheless!), we knew it was going to be an amazing day. Megan was a stunning bride in her Essence of Australia gown from Ultimate Bride (that delicate lace!) and Evan was her perfect counterpart in his dashing Vera Wang tux. Megan and Evan are a gorgeous couple, classically elegant, so personable, and so completely head over heels for each other. Their ceremony was held at St. Roch's Parish, followed by a reception at the Third Degree Glass Factory. We couldn't have been happier to photograph this incredible day.
